As an ex-Labour member myself I am curious if you have any ideas why the Labour Party has become so completely befuddled by this issue and has taken a view that many people would argue is damaging to women. It also presents an open goal to Labour’s political opponents. Is it just because so many Labour activists are caught up in the latest thing and over the last decade it’s been ‘trans rights’
I think there's a minority who are full on trans rights nonsense. Another minority, like me, speaking up against it, and a huge middle who either can't be bothered, don't see it as important, or are cowed by the trans minority into staying silent for fear of their political career or standing.
When that middle moves, as I think they are starting to, and gains some momentum, the downfall of trans ideology will be swift.
This may not come in time for the next General Election though.
